Hi @MeetChudasama,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If the Windows key on your HP Victus 15 laptop isn't working, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
Check for Physical Issues:
- Ensure that there are no physical obstructions or debris under the key.
- Try pressing the key firmly or using a small tool to gently clean around the key.
Restart Your Laptop:
- Sometimes a simple restart can fix keyboard issues.
Check Keyboard Settings:
- Windows Settings:
- Go to Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard.
- Ensure that Use the On-Screen Keyboard is turned off and that no accessibility features affecting keyboard behavior are enabled.
Update Keyboard Drivers:
- Device Manager:
- Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Keyboards section, right-click on your keyboard device, and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
Check for Windows Updates:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off your laptop, disconnect any external devices, and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge residual power. Then, restart the laptop.
Use Windows Troubleshooter:
- Keyboard Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Click on Additional troubleshooters and select Keyboard.

Check for Software Conflicts:
- Some third-party software might interfere with the keyboard. Try booting into Safe Mode to see if the key works there.
Test with an External Keyboard:
- Connect an external keyboard to see if the Windows key works. This can help determine if the issue is with the laptop's keyboard or a system-wide issue.
Check BIOS Settings:
- Restart your laptop and enter BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing F2, Esc, or Del during startup).
- Check if there are any settings related to the keyboard and ensure they are enabled.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
