Hello @MMRR

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Thank you for posting.

  • Can you post your full HP product model and product number -> here is how to find it >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108
  • Have you performed any changes or updates recently - like installed or updated some software or hardware updates or changes ?
  • Can you click on Start, type winver and open it ? This will show your Windows version ? Can you please take a picture of it using your smartphone or camera and post it back here in your next reply ?

You can also read this HP article for some generic advice -> expand the section "Troubleshooting Windows 10 activation errors" -> https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c04640037

Hello, Thanks for your response.

Here are my device information:

HP Spectre Convertible 13-ae0xx

Product number : 2SP84UA#ABL

serial number:  [edit]

Windows 10 Home 64-bit

In answer to your question "Have you performed any changes or updates recently - like installed or updated some software or hardware updates or changes?"

I had actually had tecnical issues with my device and had to send it to hp for repair and they have re-set the device and re-installed windows on it.

Also, I have attached my windows information attached.

Hey @MMRR

Do you happen to know what exactly was the issue and what has been changed by HP support techs ?

If the device is still within warranty period, please, reach to HP for free in-warranty support. They can assist you with the activation of Windows.

I suspect some component has been changed which causes the Windows asking to be reactivated.
