Envy 15
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I did a factory reset on my old envy 15 and after the reset I now get a error on the windows activation "This product key doesn't work".

How can I resolve this issue?

@Tonydc

Need to know, in detail, HOW you did the factory reset.

Hi, during boot, I pressed F11, then from the menu selected Troubleshoot and from there selected Reset Your PC

OK, that SHOULD have worked without issue -- have no idea why it did not.

Unfortunately, HP does not provide OEM licenses to customers since the Windows comes preinstalled.

You could contact HP Customer Support but I'm not sure they can do anything for you.  There is nothing we can do for you from here.
