I have a new HP laptop with W11 since 3 days ago.
Last night I tried to use a previous restore point.
Since then the computer boots up, tries to fix itself but there is no way. Windows is not working

I just realized while watching a video on YouTube,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GA0bvgymT-A
that I had only one partition, C: and then I divided it and created two partitions C and D.
And when I requested the restore point I had only one partition C:.
The problem, how do I get W-11 to work?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GA0bvgymT-A

Hi @IgnacioJ1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
It sounds like you've encountered issues after trying to use a previous restore point on your HP laptop with Windows 11, especially after modifying partitions. Here’s how you can approach resolving the issue:
- Was the restore point created before or after you made changes to the partitions? Did you create the restore point on the C: drive or before the partition change?
- Did you use any third-party software to partition the drive, or did you use Windows Disk Management? Were there any errors or warnings during the partitioning process?
- Are there any specific error messages or codes displayed when Windows attempts to fix itself? If so, what are they?
- What happens when you try to boot into Windows? Does it reach the login screen, or does it fail earlier in the boot process?
- Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? If yes, does Safe Mode work or show any errors?
- Do you have a backup of your files? Did you create a recovery drive or have any recovery media before making changes to the partitions?
Let's try these steps.
Boot into Safe Mode:
- Access Safe Mode:
- Turn off your laptop.
- Turn it back on and immediately start pressing the F8 or Shift + F8 key repeatedly until you see the recovery options.
- Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
- After the restart, choose Safe Mode from the options.
Use Windows Recovery Options:
Perform Startup Repair:
- Boot from Windows installation media (USB or DVD) if available.
- Select your language preferences and click Next.
- Click Repair your computer.
- Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.
Use System Restore:
- Boot from Windows installation media.
- Select Repair your computer.
- Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore.
- Follow the prompts to restore your system to a previous state.
Please find the remaining steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Sorry, I'll try to respond in English. The Spanish forum is closed and only this forum is allowed in English.
I am in contact with an HP agent (my computer is only 1 week old). I have downloaded Windows on the computer HP to replace the bad copy on the computer HP. I have reinstalled it. Getting it down took more than 3 hours. Reinstall it more than 6 hours (I went to sleep and left it working, only the hp anagram appears and nothing else, like that all the time).
Then I started the computer as if for the first time, reinstalling Windows and starting from scratch.

Lo he reinstalado.
