I installed a software named "phoenix os", which asked me to reboot my laptop. When clicked reboot, it restarted my pc to grub console and said kernel isn't loaded. I did nothing further and tried to reboot to my windows and see some help. But whenever i tried to boot into my windows it said " an unknown software or hardware has been installed. To keep device away from further damage windows will now shut down" or something like that. Then I tried to setup windows 10 through usb boot stick. But windows setup shows no drives in my hard disk. And says "we couldn't find any drivers. To get storage driver, click load driver." Which driver should i use? I don't know anything about it. Please help me

Enter Diskpart and try the Clean command.
Is your notebook outside of the warranty period?
If it is and the Clean command does not resolve the issue, you may have to consider replacing the hard disk with a new one.

That sounds like you let the Phoenix OS installer install to the hard drive and change the GPT volume to LVM type.
You will need to remove the Android volume type and file system from the hard disk.
If you boot to the Windows installer and go to a command prompt and use the Windows Diskpart utility, you will be able to return the disk to a volume type that will be recognized by the installer.
All you should need is the clean command to return the disk to a RAW state.
See the tutorial at the link below.

No, There isn't any way to do it without returning the hard disk to RAW state.
When you have returned Windows to the hard disk you can run Phoenix OS in VirtualBox or an Android emulator.

I suggest that you save the important files to an external storage device.

KIndly invoke a command line window and enter Diskpart again. See the following image.
Execute the two query commands and take a digital photo of the screen and post it here in your thread so I can see what you are seeing.

I did as you said and it worked. It brought back my disk to online statuse but Alas! All my files are now deleted. Please tell me a way to recover all my files. And by files I don't mean only musics and videos. I have so many archives, filled with a lot of stuff. Is it possible to recover them. I only know recovery software only recovers common known files like pictures videos musics. But can it recover other files to. Without any damage?
