Did you buy a replacement motherboard with a Windows product key?
They are sold with and without product keys in the BIOS.
If you bought a replacement motherboard that comes with a Windows product key in the BIOS, download, install and run the free Showkey Plus app from the Microsoft Store.
The report should show you an 'Installed' product key and an OEM product key and the version of Windows the key is good for.
If the OEM key is different from the installed key, change the installed key to the OEM key in the PC settings menu and you should be able to activate Windows using the new motherboard's OEM product key.
If you don't see an OEM product key, you bought a motherboard without a product key and you will have to pay for a new operating system product key.
