Hello My computer went into a "repair loop" and I was told to resinstall windows. I've been following instructions everything was nice and great, but when I got to a step to select the primary partition, it said I couldn't because something about bitlocker.

This is what Windows support told me "Yes that is correct. Please contact HP and ask them to assist you disable "secure Boot" on your BIOS settings to try and disable Bitlocker. And since you have the USB drive needed to install windows, they can also proceed with the installation process for you."

I need help please help me

Hi:

See this link for the typical method to disable secure boot in most HP notebooks...

I have disabled secure boot! However I still can't resinatall windows because bitlocker isn't letting me select any partitions. I'm using this guide How to: Perform a Custom Installation of Windows - Microsoft Community

Even when I follow steps listed in that link

When I first set up my PC, it sent the bitlocker security code to Microsoft.

If you used a Microsoft account to set up your PC to login, that should have happened to you as well.

See the link below for how to recover your bitlocker key...

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to use diskpart and see if you can clean the disk.
