My laptop had a windows update titled hp software component so i download it, gotta stay up to date with drivers, it said restart required so i restart, the system restarted without cutting power (just wanted to point it out since when i restart it cuts power to the keyboard and the light turns off and then comes back) and got to the vicrus logo, then the update text that says dont power off etc came on and then the laptop instantly closed, it powered on after a few seconds, then it said system bios update failed, update from a flash drive etc. then it successfully booted into windows, the notification was still there, i restarted again thinking it would maybe fix it? It did the same thing again, checked the bios, it was 29F and the latest was 31F so it didnt try to install a wrong driver, however now the triver were not showing up on windows update nor hp support assistant, my bios was still 29F, gone to the hp driver site of my specific laptop model, downloaded 31F driver, opened the installer but it gives me an error saying theres not enough storeage and i should delete some files but my computer has 750GB free storeage, checked the EFI partition too, its 100MB and empty, what should i do? any help would be appreciated, the laptop is still under warranty.

The error you encountered means that your 100 MB EFI system partition (ESP) doesn't have enough free space for the BIOS update.
You either need to enlarge the ESP size or delete some files on ESP.
If you updated BIOS before, the update may have created an HP folder in the EFI partition and stored BIOS files there. If so, you may be able to delete them safely to free up some space.
The ESP is a hidden partition. If you assign a volume letter to it and run notepad.exe in command prompt, you can view the content of the \EFI\HP folder in File Explorer and delete files easily.
See this thread for how to do it.
If you find the EFI\HP folder doesn't have any BIOS filed stored, you can delete the HP folder to create enough space for the BIOS update. See this thread where the person deleted the HP folder.
Let me know how it goes.
