Hi @25-07,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP laptop is stuck at the HP logo with a revolving circle during boot-up, it could be due to various reasons. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

  • Restart your laptop: Sometimes a simple restart can fix minor glitches. Try restarting your laptop and see if it resolves the problem.
  • Boot into Safe Mode: Restart your laptop and try booting into Safe Mode. In Safe Mode, Windows loads only essential drivers, which can help identify if the issue is related to third-party software or drivers. To boot into Safe Mode, you may need to press the F8 key repeatedly during startup or use other specific key combinations depending on your laptop model.
  • Check for external devices: Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, external hard drives, printers, etc.) from your laptop and then try to boot it again. Sometimes, a faulty external device can cause boot issues.
  • Perform a System Restore: If your laptop was working fine before and the issue started recently, you can try performing a System Restore to revert your system to a previous state. This can be done from the Windows Recovery Environment.
  • Run Startup Repair: Boot from a Windows installation or repair disc and run the Startup Repair tool. This can help fix issues with the boot configuration.
  • Check for Windows updates: If you can access Safe Mode or if your system allows you to check for updates during the startup process, make sure your Windows operating system is up to date. Sometimes, updates include fixes for known issues.
  • Perform a System File Check (SFC): Open the Command Prompt as an administrator and run the "sfc /scannow" command. This will scan and repair corrupted system files.
  • Check for hardware issues: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there might be a hardware problem.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
