After my old Linux laptop died, I went out and bought a new laptop that was a 2-in-1, HP Spectre X360 15-DF0033DX.
I chose HP for the brand-name of their hardware. There were 3 other laptops I could have gotten, but these all had Windows 10 pre-installed and I am not a Windows 10 fan. I have one Windows 10 Desktop that I use for Gaming and that's it.
I am a developer and I prefer using Linux, OpenSuse Leap 15.1 to be exact. I downloaded and created the DVD Disk from an ISO. I managed to get into the BIOS of the HP Spectre and change the boot order to be: 1) CD/DVD 2) USB stick 3) OS Boot Manager ... which says Windows Boot Manager.
Nothing against HP, but against Windows, when I booted off the OpenSuse DVD, I got to the part where it asks for the hard-drive, and this machine has one new NVMe SSD drive, 512GB. When OpenSuse looks at the hard-drives, I get this error:
cannot delete mdContainer
and I know this is a Docker error ... was my drive setup with Docker for the partitions????????????
There seems to be a UEFI Boot Partition of 260MB FAT, a data drive C:\ with 475 GB, and the Restore partition 27 GB.
I don't understand how docker was used, but I need the entire single SSD drive to be WIPED OUT!!!!
I have no personal data on this machine as it is less than 24 hours old in my hands, and I don't care about Windows 10. If I really wanted the Windows 10 disks, I can just order the media from HP support.
So, What is with the BIOS and the OS Boot Manager, the Windows boot manager, how do I get rid of that???
What is the best way to wipe this disk out and get rid of all the windows 10 partitions and docker containers.
Any help would be very useful. Thanks!

'm sorry, but we here are not equipped to provide detailed Linux support.
HP only warranties their PCs for usage with the OS that comes preinstalled. IF you replace that with Linux, or add a Linux OS, then you assume full responsibility for maintaining that -- as HP provides Linux assistance only on Redhat and then only to commercial customers.
The primary "challenge" to using Linux on any HP PC is the availability of Linux drivers. Any hardware that does not work will then range from simple (if there are Linux drivers available) to impossible (if there are NO Linux drivers available) to fix.
Since HP does not provide Linux drivers, your best bet for Linux support is to contact the support forum for the Linux distro you are using.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

@WAWood ... I am not expecting anyone to provide me with Linux support from HP. This response strikes me as canned text and that my question was not even read.
The problem is that HP ... as it stands ... has 3 partitions that are created. I want the best way to wipe them out. Yes, MS has a way to do this, and yes, there are other third party tools, but this applies to Microsoft Windows on HP hardware, and because of that ... I need to know from HP if there is any advice on how to remove partitions from MS Windows 10 on YOUR hardware.
I assume full responsibility for running linux on this laptop, and I understand the issue about drivers ... I've done this for years on various machines without any issues. And ... if I ever want to, I could always order the Windows 10 media for this device and then I could re-install Windows 10 and make the machine as if it was brand new.
So, let me ask one more time, for the Spectre X360 15-DF03xxxDX, is there anything special I need to do in order to remove the windows partitions? Was Docker somehow used to format the drives?
Thanks!
