Hello I have a hp 15-bs162sa laptop and update the bios to the latest version. The installation went well but after it had finished it turned on and nothing came up on screen but the fan was spinning so I know it had turned on. So I google my problem and I made a recovery usb stick and press windows and b and turned it on and still the same problem with no indication lights or beeps. So I took apart the laptop and took out the cmos battery waited half an hour and still nothing. Is there anything else to try?

Can you try to reseat the ram and remove the power/battery pressing and holding the power button for 2 minutes to relieve static energy.

Obviously, this is not good.
When you tried the USB recovery was there any indication the USB was being used? Did the LED of the flash drive flash a couple of times? if it looked like the USB was being read in then possibly an older bios may work. The USB will flash once when the system is powered on but if it never flashes again then the motherboard is dead.
Any good shop can replace the bios chip but it might cost more than buying a replacement motherboard

Make sure you follow the steps exactly as listed as one missed step can cause the operation to fail.
You can try recover the BIOS using a USB recovery drive
If you are unable to recover the last working BIOS version, install a BIOS recovery file from the HP website using a USB flash drive.
NOTE: This recovery process is not supported on computers with the HP Sure Start feature.
Create a USB recovery drive
Use a second working computer with an active internet connection to create a BIOS recovery USB flash drive. To recover the BIOS, the necessary BIOS binary recovery files must be present on a storage device connected to the failed system.

Creating a BIOS Recovery Flash Drive for HP Notebooks
Learn how to create a BIOS recovery flash drive for HP notebooks that have had hard drive failure or no longer have the HP_Tools volume or partition.
Get the product number for the original notebook that requires a BIOS recovery. This number is typically found on a label on the bottom of the notebook or on the box it shipped in.
Go to Find product and serial numbers for HP PCs, printers, and accessories for additional options.
NOTE: The general or series name near the keyboard or on the frame around the screen is not specific enough to identify the correct download files.

Insert a blank USB flash drive into an available port on the second computer.
NOTE: Do not use a USB Type-C flash drive on Intel platforms. USB Type-C flash drives are not supported for crisis recovery because of design limitations.
Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
Navigate to the product page for your computer.
Select BIOS, and then review the details of the latest available version or the specific version recommended for the recovery. Confirm that it is the correct BIOS update before proceeding.
CAUTION: Read the Details section to confirm that it applies to the computer. Installing the wrong BIOS could cause the computer to stop working.
Click Download > Run.
