HP Stream 11

Hi, Have tried to update laptop but it always says not enough space on the hard drive, the laptop has nothing on it. I have a memory card in as well and put as much over to that i could and eventually got it to start updating and then it got stuck. It will not reboot. Have taken into pcworld, they could not get it to reboot and told us we were told out of warranty but when i typed in the serial number it says we have 7 days. It is a bit useless if you cant even update it without anything else on it.
