I havent used my laptop in a few weeks. I bought it brand new and have only used it twice. I tried to start it this morning and it wouldnt turn on. I plugged it in, because I figured it was dead from not using it and the orange charging light turns on but the computer doesnt start. Does it need to be at a certain percent charged before itll start or whats going on?

Greetings @ldocken,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that your computer is not booting or giving any display, is that right?
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
May I know the exact product number of your computer? Click here. Please do not share the serial number of your computer.
Have you made any changes on your computer?
Recommend you to try rolling back the BIOS. Follow the steps below. Click here for the HP Article.
Do a hard reset,
Connect only the adapter.
Turn the computer ON while holding the Win + B key. (hold these 2 keys for more than 10 seconds, let go of the power button alone)
If rolling back BIOS does not work. Try again.
If the issue persists, please contact our phone support team for the service options.
