I want to update my Windows to Windows 11. But in the Windows update setting I don't find options to update it, it's just saying something went wrong, try to re-open settings later.

You can try updating to W11 by clicking on the blue W11 Installation Assistant button at the link below (1st option).

Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

It's showing this error dialogue. After clicking the downloaded file to install.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that error.

You would probably be better off backing up your files and clean installing W11 by making a bootable W11 installation flash drive from the link I posted yesterday (2nd option).

I had to do that with my HP notebook which refused to update from W10>W11.  I tried multiple times and ways to no avail.

I clean installed W11, installed the drivers and software I needed from my notebook's support page, and it has worked fine ever since, also updating to the newer releases of W11 (22H2/22H3).

A clean install will put you at the latest version of W11 (22H3).

Your other option would be to post your question on the Microsoft support forum where folks have more experience with Windows update problems/software errors and whatnot.

Click on the 'Ask a new question' link on the upper right side of the webpage.
