How do I remove the yellow dot on the HP Support Assistant icon in my task bar. I completed the recommendations, but the yellow alert dot still remain.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you see a yellow dot on the HP support assistant.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
You will see that yellow dot event when you have alerts in the HP support assistant. I recommend you click on the message tab in the HP support assistant and mark all the messages as read and check.
If you continue facing the issue, then uninstall HP support assistant from your computer and then download and install it from the below link.
