HP Pavilion - 15t-cu000 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows 10 64 bit OS was installed by HP when laptop purchased (no CD provided).

Now I am getting message "Your Windows license will expire soon".  I have no product key information.  I have tried many of the on-line "fixes" to remove this message but nothing is working.  Anyone have any fixes that DO work???  THANKS!!  Randall.

Hi:

Since I have no idea what "fixes" you have tried see if this works...

Install the free Showkey Plus utility from the Microsoft Store.

Get ShowKeyPlus - Microsoft Store

Run the program and it should show you an installed W10 product key and an OEM W10 product key, as well as the version of W10 the OEM key is good for.

If the installed key is different than the OEM key, change the installed key to the OEM product key in the PC settings menu and see if W10 will activate afterward.

You can change the product key by going to the settings menu>update & security>activation>change product key.
