Good evening everyone. I tried to factory reset my new HP workstation using F11, but only the operating system was restored.

All the original HP programs are gone (including Wolf Pro and Poly), and the only way to get them back is to download them from the official HP support website. I don't think this is normal.

Am I wrong? Can I solve this problem using Cloud Recovery?

Thanks.

@Bepino14,

HP Cloud Recovery Client should restore your storage drive to a factory state.

Thanks for the reply. HP customer support told me to delete all partitions and then create a new one using 30 or 40% of the space. Is this correct? It doesn't do everything automatically, then?

I don't quite understand what customer service told you about.

HP Cloud Recovery Client creates a bootable recovery usb drive that installs Windows and HP software and applications, bringing the storage drive to a factory state.

 See this document for how to use the recovery client.

Thanks a lot, I'll try to do it...
