Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I want to install Ubuntu OS . But somehow my genuine windows 8 get corrupted or delete then can I restore it ? .

 Have you made your Recovery Media? You have software on your laptop to make Recovery Media which can be used to boot from and reinstall Windows. Look for HP Recovery Manager, then  Recovery Media Creation.

Hi,

In addition to the reply by @CherylG 

You can always download the Windows 8.1 iso and perform a clean install of the OS. You do not need the product key.

The Specs for your laptop says it shipped with FreeDOS. Did you or someone install Windows 8.1 on it?
