Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I used HP recovery manager to restore windows 8 on my HP Pavilion G7. I think the restore was succesful but I cannot logon to windows.

When I switch on the laptop I get a screen with a mountain landscape. When I press any key I get a screen with only one user icon to choose from , the adiministator. When I click on that icon I get an error message (in dutch) "Uw account is uitgeschakeld. Neem contact op met de systeembeheerder". This means "Your account has been disabled. Please contact the system administrator".

Is there a way to enable that administrator account using HP recovery manager?

Thank you in avance for your help.

I did yet another system recovery using HP recovery manager. This time I no longer had the admin account problem. So I believe that the appearance of a disabled admin account is only an >>>indication<<< of a failed recovery attempt . The real problem is the failed recovery. So my advice to anyone with the same problem would be: start the recovery process all over again.
