You may have a serious problem now. Why?

Because the HP license for your preinstalled Win8x was OEM, and that means it was tied to the original motherboard, not to you.  So now, the product key encoded into the UEFI firmware of your original motherboard is no longer present and the Win8x you installed can not find it to activate.

Since you can not purchase an HP OEM license, then you will have to purchase your own license, most likely Retail, in order to activate your copy of Windows.
