am trying to install windows xp on my hp stream laptop. my module is:11-ak1012dx.everytime when am trying to install windows xp when it says setup is starting windows.it gives me a BSOD it says,STOP: 0x000000 acpi.sys - address F73B9D66. and i don't have sata configuration in my isyde20 verison F. 16 bios.when i follow tips to get advanced options it dosen't work.if i can have tips or anything to install xp on my hp stream laptop the would be great

You're very welcome.
If you need to run XP for a reason, you can use a notebook with an Intel 3rd generation core or older processor.

Hi:
Unfortunately, it is not possible to install Windows XP on your notebook.
There were no SATA storage controller drivers developed by intel for your notebook's processor and chipset.
There is no way to change the storage controller settings from AHCI to IDE in the BIOS.
Not to mention that even if you were able to install WXP on there you would not find any drivers for any of the hardware your notebook comes with...no wifi, no graphics, no audio, no nothing.
