@ddadafaffagagga, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP notebook is having trouble finding the operating system. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Check Boot Order in BIOS:

  • Restart your laptop and press the F10 key repeatedly to enter the BIOS setup utility.
  • Navigate to the Boot Options or Boot Order.
  • Ensure your hard drive or SSD is listed as the first boot device.
  • Save and exit BIOS (usually F10 to save changes).

Perform a Hard Drive Test:

  • Restart your laptop and press the F2 key repeatedly to open the HP Hardware Diagnostics menu.
  • Select System Tests > Hard Drive Test.
  • If the test fails, your hard drive may need to be replaced.

Use Automatic Repair:

  • Create a Windows bootable USB using another computer (you can download the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's website).
  • Boot your HP notebook from the USB: Insert the bootable USB drive, restart, and press F9 to access the Boot Menu. Select the USB drive as the boot device.
  • Choose Repair your computer > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.

Rebuild Boot Configuration:

  • From the same Windows recovery USB, open Command Prompt (from Advanced Options).
  • Type the following commands:

bootrec /fixmbr

bootrec /fixboot

bootrec /scanos

bootrec /rebuildbcd

  • Restart your PC and check if it boots normally.

Reinstall Windows (if all else fails):

  • Boot from the Windows USB drive.
  • Select Install Now, choose Custom Installation, and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • If the installation fails to detect your hard drive, the drive may be corrupted and need replacement

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
