--appropriate color profiles (described as ICM or ICC files)--  HWINFO gives the monitor   //(screen)-in case readers think a separate-connected MONITOR is being considered// name as model AU0 70EC. The washed-out colors remedy, was to install the 'proper' 

ICM or ICC profiles. Where in support could these profiles be found for downloading?

I don't think the screen of your machine has those options. You need a screen which costs a lot more. HP has some models/products for designers and printing industry with dreamcolor screens, they should have those profiles built in.

It ONLY has  15.6" diagonal HD SVA BrightView micro-edge WLED-backlit (1366 x 768) . I don't know how MAGICALLY we can change to higher resolution

I did not want to use the term ' MAGICALLY ' when I was describing the display concerns. So, I'll just include these screen shots to better display the outcomes. 

Maybe with these aged eyes (and the greying of the web's fonts), I'll have to learn some html to render my pages in www.jwz.org's green text on black background,
