Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

While trying to restore a back up I get the error code ffff15 followed by error 57 , the original operating system was win 7 upgraded to win 10 , can anyone shed any light what the errors refer to , thanks . I have eventually managed to solve the problem as follows . The information on these errors is very hard to come by , with the only small reference I could find  (if I understood the article correctly) being that if the back up was created by a particular version of windows then you need to restore it to that version , even though my laptop was running Win 10 , I believe the backup was created with Win 7 . I purchased a cheap second hand laptop running Win 7 and was able to complete the restore to this laptop . Hope this information is of use.
