Hi @99993,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The image shows an HP BIOS recovery screen with the message:

The BIOS recovery files cannot be found, or the files are corrupted.
Using another computer and a USB flash drive, download the latest BIOS file from the HP website and create a BIOS USB recovery drive for the PC that needs recovery.
Insert the BIOS USB recovery drive into the PC that needs recovery and restart the PC.
To learn more about creating a USB recovery drive, go to the HP website: HP Notebook PCs - Recovering the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) | HP® Support

Step 1: Identify Your HP Model

  • Look at the label on the bottom of your PC or inside the battery compartment for Product Name and Product Number.

Step 2: Download BIOS Update

  • On another PC, go to Official HP® Support.
  • Enter your product name or number.
  • Download the latest BIOS update SoftPaq for your model.

Step 3: Create BIOS Recovery USB

  • Run the downloaded BIOS update file.
  • Choose Create Recovery USB flash drive.
  • Insert a blank USB drive (at least 4 GB).
  • Complete the creation process.

Step 4: Recover BIOS

  • Insert the USB into the affected PC.
  • Press and hold Windows + B, then press Power for 2–3 seconds.
  • Release Power but keep holding Windows + B until you hear a beep or see the recovery screen.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to restore the BIOS.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
