so i want to update my bios on an hp laptop that doesnt have an os system. so i searched for the bios that works for my specific laptop and downloaded the installer. i choose flash drive recovery and it told me " all of the files will be in hewlett packard folder" but the usb is empty. there are no files. it is fat32 and it has 4 gbs (i also tried with a 8gb usb drive but it doesnt work either). so i still tried to put it in my old laptop and it also said that no files could be found. i tried installing the bio to the usb multiple times and redownloaded the installer 2 times. i cant find anyone online having the same issue.
