Hi @omaralhaddad24,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

It seems that the BIOS update for your HP ENVY X360 15-FE0053 2-IN-1 has caused the touch screen and sound issues. These types of problems can sometimes occur due to changes or incompatibilities introduced during the update. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

1. Reset BIOS to Default Settings:

  • Restart your laptop and press the Esc key repeatedly to enter the Startup Menu.
  • Press F10 to enter the BIOS setup.
  • Look for an option like "Restore Defaults" or "Load Setup Defaults," usually located in the "Exit" or "Main" tab.
  • Save changes and exit.

2. Reinstall or Roll Back the BIOS Update:

  • Check the HP support website for your model to see if there's an older BIOS version or an updated version that resolves the issue.
  • If available, follow the instructions to roll back or update the BIOS to a different version.

3. Update or Reinstall Drivers:

  • Touch Screen:
    • Open the Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
    • Expand "Human Interface Devices" and look for "HID-compliant touch screen."
    • Right-click and select "Update Driver" or "Uninstall" and restart the computer to reinstall.
  • Sound:
    • Go to the Device Manager, expand "Sound, video, and game controllers," right-click your audio device, and choose "Update Driver."
    • Alternatively, uninstall the audio driver and restart your laptop to reinstall it automatically.

4. Check Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and check for any pending updates. Sometimes, driver updates are provided through Windows Update.

5. Perform a System Restore:

  • If the issue started after the BIOS update and the above steps do not help, consider using System Restore to revert your system to a point before the update.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you might need to contact HP Phone Support for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
