Hi

I must reinstall system of my laptop.
But I can't use usb boot or dvd boot.

In bios usb isn't showed at all in boot option.
Please help me

Hi:

 

See if you can get the USB flash drive to show up by enabling Legacy Mode and disabling Secure Boot in the BIOS.

Unfortunately, if the legacy mode setting does not exist in your notebook, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.


Did you read the discussion at the link I posted above?

 

The person also has an Intel 8th generation core notebook and that model has those settings as shown in the screen shots.

It appears to me from your screen shot that you have a secure boot setting and it is on Enabled.

 

Change that to Disabled and see what happens.

Sorry that didn't work either.

 

As I suggested to the other person, you should call HP about this problem and see if they can tell you how to boot from an external device.

 

There has to be a way to do it.
