Product: HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab121dx (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
So i bought an ssd for this laptop to replace the hdd but when i went to go install windows via usb (media creation tool) it wouldn't even get past the logo screen. it would just show the loader before restarting with these weird horizontal rectangles across the screen. I couldn't figure out how to get it to work so i decided to install windows on the ssd through my personal pc and then put it on the laptop. It ended up doing the same thing except now without the rectangles. i turned off secure boot, legacy and messed around in bios but nothing would work. If you have any suggestions on what i should do please let me know. Thank you
