Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

 

The left hinge on my laptop suddenly started to break.  I don't move the laptop around all that much and  the hinge failed anyway.  From looking at other messages I've seen that this is a common problem for this laptop model. I wonder if HP has done a recall for this product.  If it hasn't it really ought to take some responsibility because it is plainly a manufacturing defect, apparently caused by a decision to use plastic instead of metal for the hinges.

Since this is a Hardware issue please contact HP Support in your region for Service Options

 


1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
