Hi @mindnightmix,

Thank you for getting back to us, and we appreciate the update.

No problem at all. The ability to send private messages can sometimes be limited depending on the device or browser you're using. Since you'll have access to your wife's computer later, please try accessing the private message from there.

The private messaging option is enabled on our end, so once you're able to log in from the computer, you should be able to send us the requested information.

When it's convenient, please send us the requested details via private message, and we'll review everything and do our best to help you get this resolved as quickly as possible.

We'll be looking out for your message.

Take care and have a great day!

I'm an HP Employee.

Hi @mindnightmix,

Thank you for the update and for sharing your notebook details. I'm glad to hear the clean installation has the system running again.

That said, because you've seen the "No SSD" (3F0) error more than once, even after a clean install, I'd be a little cautious. An intermittent No SSD error usually indicates that the SSD is occasionally losing communication with the system, which can point to the SSD itself or another hardware-related issue rather than Windows alone.

For now, I'd recommend holding off on restoring your backup until you've confirmed the notebook remains stable for a while.

If the 3F0 / No SSD error returns, the next step would be to have the notebook checked at an HP Authorized Service Center. They can run hardware diagnostics to verify whether the SSD or another internal component is causing the intermittent detection issue.

In the meantime, since the notebook is currently working, make sure any important files are backed up.

Please keep us posted on how it behaves over the next few days. If the error comes back, we'll be happy to help you review the results and determine the best next step. Take care!

I'm an HP Employee.
