hi   I have seen  and  read  that   hackers   can  gain  access  to your   onboard camera,  seeing as I dont use mine  can it be dissabled   in  the software ?   cheers in advance

The laptop is safe if he has a working anti-virus/spyware protection

Or

You can also uninstall the webcam drivers from the device manager. (if you don't use it)
