pavilion zv5000
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I am currently running windows 7 32 bit on this pavilion zv5000 that has a AMD Athlon XP processor 2800+ 1.60 GHZ processor.  It has 1.25 GB ram which I believe is the most it can run.  Can I load windows 7 64 bit on this computer.

Thank you.

Hi:

There are no 64 bit drivers for the audio, and the notebook would run very slow because a 64 bit OS requires more memory and drive space than a 32 bit one does.

Microsoft indicates the minimum memory requirement to run a 64 bit OS is 2 GB, and I can tell you from experience, even that is not enough.
