Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My system crashed. I couldn't boot into Windows. I also couldn't access the HP recovery system. So I decided to to fresh instlall of Windows 10 using the media creation tool from Microsoft. I tried multiple times but am always stopped at 9% with the 0x8007025d error. I tried all the workarounds that I could find online.  I tried all of them including replacing the hard drive and RAM module.  I've disable secure boot. I've enable and disable legacy boot.

I've done all this with nothing else connected such as mouse, etc.

I've tried installing from USB and DVD. I've installed the windows 10 iso from multiple computers and different locations.

I've tried multiple diagnostics including the ultimate boot cd. No errors are shown.  I've run the diagnostics on both old and new hard drives and RAM modules. I've run memtest86 several times. Never shows a single error.

I installed ubuntu linux and it installs and runs fine.

I'd like to use an HP recover disc but don't want to spend more money on top of all the money I've already spent trying to fix this. I'm annoyed that HP doesn't give a recovery cd with the computer.

Can anyone help? Thanks.
