HP 15-f019dx Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)

I have a win 8.1 that will go out of support with MS soon.  Can my Model 15-f019dx support win 10?  I have 12 GB ram and a 1TB ssd for main drive.

Hi:

Since HP has W10 drivers on your notebook's support page, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to install W10.

You can still get the free upgrade from W8.1>10 by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the Media creation tool from the link below.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

After the USB flash drive has been created, do not boot from it.

Open the flash drive in Windows Explorer, and double click to run the Setup application you see there in the list of files to begin the upgrade process to W10.

If for some reason things don't work well on W10, you have 10 days to go back to W8.1 as long as you don't delete any of the upgrade files or the Windows.old folder.

Thanks for the reply.  I went ahead and made the 8.1 to 10 update.  According to MS the free upgrade has expired, so I purchased a 10 license.  All appears to be working.
