OK.
This would be the latest BIOS.
If you look at the bottom of the page you can see revision history where you can get all the older versions.
You could run Hardware diagnostics at boot and see if there are any hardware problems, such as the Hard Drive
Turn off the PC by holding the power button until complete shutdown.
Turn on the PC and repeatedly press ESC until startup menu appears.
Press F2 to enter diagnostics.
Try performing the fast system test and see if there are any failure ids.

Thanks. It took a bit but complete bios update from f20 to f21. Still wouldn't jump to f61. jumped up a few more and was successful. Jumped to one closer to f61 then finally f61 installed. Must have been something in one of the updates that prevented newer updates until it was installed. Now hoping the random blue screens go away. Have run pretty much all the diagnostics. "Whocrashed" just mostly indicates unknown driver. Believe most drivers are now current so will wait and hope for the best
