hi

I had my win 11 installed in ssd.System was crashing every 10 sec...so i tried every solution and ended up  installing win11  in HDD.Now everyting is working .Except the previous windows drive .I want to clean that ssd & use as a regular one.I tied formatting, cleaning .Nothing works .Previous windows is still in the ssd.I tried third party soft like AOMEI  .AOMEI says successful wiping drive but it is still there. How do i clean that SDD  (Disk 1 in pic below ) ?

Hi,

Have you tried using diskpart

Open CMD as administrator

type      diskpart

               list disk

select disk X      (select the 120GB disk, put the number instead of the X)

               clean

now you can type exit to close diskpart and then close the CMD. Go into Diskmanager and initialize the drive. You should then try to reinstall on the SSD as it will have a greater performance.

Hope it helps,

David
