I'd like to change OS from Vista Home and would like to know which OS would work well with HP530 32 bit, 2 gb ram, 440 @1.8 ghz, Intel(r) celeron(r) M cpu.

Assuming the OS still needs to be Windows, then Windows 7 might work. Try using the Windows Upgrade advisor

With that processor and the small amount of RAM, maybe a Linux distro would be better. Many of them can be made into a Live CD, so you can boot to the Live CD to try it out without changing anything on the regular OS. If you like it, then install as an OS.
