HP ZBook Firefly 14 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC IDS Base Model

Hello everyone.
Tell me, how can I delete my account, which I use to log into my laptop, and replace it with a new one?

Welcome to HP Support Community, @struller

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To manage user accounts on your HP ZBook Firefly 14 inch G8 Mobile Workstation, you can follow these steps to delete an existing account and create a new one:

Step 1: Remove an Existing User Account
Log in to your HP ZBook with an account that has administrative privileges.
Open the Settings app. You can do this by clicking the Windows icon at the bottom left of your screen and selecting the gear icon.
In the Settings menu, click on Accounts.
Select the Family & other users tab from the left sidebar.
Under the Other users section, find the account you want to delete.
Click on the account, and then click the Remove button.
Confirm the removal by clicking Delete account and data. Be sure to back up any important data before doing this, as it will erase all data associated with that user account.

Step 2: Create a New User Account
In the Family & other users section, click Add someone else to this PC.
Follow the prompts to create a new account. You can choose from a Microsoft account or a local account. For a local account, select I don’t have this person’s sign-in information and then click Add a user without a Microsoft account.
Fill out the required information for the new account and click Next.
To give the new account administrative privileges, click on the account once it’s created, select Change account type, choose Administrator from the dropdown, and click OK.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
