HP Notebook Model 15-1387wm / HP Notebook - 15-r131wm (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

computer worked fine but I got edited* and banged fist on keyboard - screen went blank. Ran diagnostics and got a 24 character error code:

OXTTXQ - 95A9N1 - MFPURA - 61ER03

and was given an HP website to go to, which I did, but was just brought back to their main page - no joy. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!  Also, not sure if system is 32 or 64 bit

@JohnSBock,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

As you've performed the hardware test and it resulted with the failure ID: 0XTTXQ-95A9N1-MFPURA-61ER03

Here's what the ID represents: Hard Disk 1 Full Test Failure

This clearly indicates a possible hardware failure. I would recommend you contact our HP support for further assistance.

If the issue occurred after an accident (such as dropping it on the floor, etc.) there could be a additional charges in such cases to get the computer repaired via HP service centers.

You could purchase the part from HP, use the HP Parts surfer to identify the part: Click here & order it via the HP Parts store (Click here) or alternatively, Contact HP for setting up an order/service via phone support

As this is a hardware issue, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

Hope this helps!
