Sorry for the bad news, but model you bought has  both one of the slowest processors you can buy and the slowest hard drive on the market.  Both of these combine to product a PC that performs poorly at best.

If you were to replace the 5400RPM HDD with a SATA SSD, you would notice an immediate performance improvement -- but with the Celeron processor of a little over 1GHZ, the performance is still going to be poor.

Hi thanks for your reply guess I would just have to leave it as it is then. Should of done my homework before I purchased it

Depends entirely on how much the slow performance annoys you and thus, how important it is to spend money to fix that.

A 500GB SSD can be had today for around $50 (USD) -- probably more like 80 pounds in the UK.  And then, there is the work to be done to migrate the HDD installation to the SSD, which is not particularly hard, but it does require both special knowledge and tools to do --and if you don't have them, that's one more thing to have to pay to have done.

But I understand -- it's your PC, so it's your choice.
