Hi

In the BIOS there sometimes is an option to HAVE to use the Fn key with Function Key.

So I cannot state for sure, only that it may be the case.

EG:  F11 in a browser goes 'full screen' I use Fn + F11.

Hi @niloc,

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

Flower_Bud is at your service.

As I understand, you're trying to connect your notebook to TV and it gives you no signal.

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

What is the product number?

Are you using a converter or adapter?

Are you connecting HDMI end on computer or TV?

While you respond to that, you could refer to these articles:

Connecting a Monitor, Projector, or TV (Windows 10, 8, 7)

Let me know,

Have a great day 🙂

Cheers!

Contains a lot of  help, and perhaps your particular problem is covered.

External monitor port:- Connects an external VGA monitor or projector.

HDMI port:- Connects an optional video or audio device, such as a high-definition television, or any compatible digital or audio component.
