Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

hi, so my laptop is hp elitebook 830 g6 and i wanted to use the fingerprint scanner. but under the fingerprint recognition (windows hello) option, it says, we couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with windows hello fingerprint. can anyone help me on how to fix it. i tried different things suggested online but nothing seems to work. (the os is windows 11 pro)

Did you buy Fingerprint scanner/reader OPTION for your HP Elitebook 830 G6 machine ? If you wish, you can buy the following part and install to your machine

 

             Fingerprint reader assembly (includes EMI gasket) part # L60625-001

 

Part is N/A from HP stock https://partsurfer.hp.com/?searchtext=L60625-001

 you have to use part # to order elsewhere.
