Hi,

Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum. Welcome !

Did this computer originally came with Windows 10 preinstalled OR it was Win 8.1 and you just upgraded to Win 10 ?

In all cases, the issue cannot be solved by simple tricks and you will have to start from scratch - a.k.a. reinstall Windows 10 as something has gone wild during the installation process. A Google search reveals this is somehow common error with Win 10.

Turn off the device. Leave it that way for some seconds. Press the power-on button and immediately start hitting the Esc key (like tap-tap-tap).  HP boot menu will appear - choose F11 for recovery options. Follow the on-screen options, choose Troubleshoot, Reset this PC and option not to keep the files.

Another one (if available) should to be choose Troubleshoot -> Recovery Manager as explained here >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04758961#AbT9

Hello,

Please, update your wireless network adapter driver from Device Manager as shown here >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05207063

When successful, please, restart the computer. Ensure all Windows Updates are applied.

If the issue persists, check other options mentioned in this article >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05207063
