Hi @musuka,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing display and keyboard issues on your HP Pc, here’s a comprehensive guide to help you troubleshoot both problems:
Display Issues
Common symptoms:
- Black screen
- Flickering or distorted display
- Dead pixels
Try These Steps:
1. Hard Reset:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Unplug the charger and remove any peripherals.
- Hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Plug it back in and power on.
2. External Monitor Test:
- Connect your laptop to an external monitor via HDMI.
- If the external display works, the issue is likely with the laptop screen or its connection.
3. BIOS Reset:
- Turn on the laptop and press Esc repeatedly, then F10 to enter BIOS.
- If the display works in BIOS, it's likely a software or driver issue.
4. Screen Replacement:
- If the screen is cracked or dead pixels are spreading, you may need a replacement.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
