Welcome to HP Support Community

Did you reinstall the Windows 10 using the HP Recovery Media?

Meantime I suggest you run a Hard drive Test to confirm the Hardware Functionality

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Hard drive

Keep me posted and have a great day 😊

The test was OK no problem ,can the format be the problem? I can not choose wich format to use, NTFS or another kind of format ,the setup give no possibillity to do that. Can I try maybe to find on the internet a program to place on a usb stick to boot my pc and then format my HD under NTFS and than try to install Windows 10. Recovery media is no possibillity because a few years ago I must exchange my broken HD ad I lose all recovery data. Thats why I must install directly Windows. Krazy Toad thanks for you help and maybe for further help
