hi, i have an Hp notebook energy star 15-ay065nl. i did a formatting of the previus OS win 10 and i installed in a clean partition win 8 pro. I can't use anymore the hp support assistant and the hp support framework they don't recognize my pc i think, indeed they don't found any driver missing. can you provide me the correct drivers ? i can't get it alone. So either it is more than 10 years old, or a variant of this HP Notebook - 15-ay068nr (ENERGY STAR) or I am useless.

So it is possibly a case of trying each individual item...

Can you type the msinfo32 again and navigate to the hardware and give manufacturers please.

It may be the Problem Devices we need.

There are 3rd party driver sites, BUT they are untrustworthy, and we want to match from the HP site.

This the manual, and perhaps some of the "HP 250 G5 Notebook PC" drivers will match.

thanks! i installed the win 8 version because your link was for 8.1 and not work on win 8...however now i have the wirelss function.

Alone i found the correct drivers for

Hi:

I recommend that you take the free upgrade to W8.1 from the windows store after you do the required updates to W8.

Then use the W8.1 drivers.

I'm surprised you even got the wifi to work because the Intel site doesn't show any W8 wifi drivers for the 3165 wifi adapter.

I think you need the Intel chipset driver for the 9D21 and 9D32.

The 2nd file down on the left side of the page is the auto install file.

You won't find a W8 graphics driver for the R5-M430.   There isn't one.

yes i have to do this free upgrade to win 8.1 as fast as i can, but i'm talking about only win 8 because i had a problem. Last time i let windows update install all win 8 updates my pc does not load the OS and my pc freeze on HP screen. After two forced arrest with the accension button the pc automatically start the HP automati reapair but this process freeze again. I tought that probably i not activate win 8 in time and without the activaion the win 8 0S blocked my pc. This time( like the fouth time i reinstall win 8 form bios lol ) everything is perfect  and my account microsoft is activated. thank you for all your help. if i'll have problems with the upgrades  and the system block can i ask here?
