Hi,
I have new notebook (HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk1008nc (20C61EA)), 2 days old, clean install from HP, all Windows updates applied (20H2 now), all HP drivers updated.
All is in current version avalaible.
After few hours of running chrome or any other browser (not any GPU difficult) SW the dwm.exe starts consuming a lot of memory and notebook become unstable.
Restart is required and problem is gone for few hours and than again.
Any ideas please?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the dwm.exe is consuming a lot of memory.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.
- Go to Computer -> Right click and choose Properties
- Select the Advanced tab
- Select the Settings button under the Performance section. This will popup the Performance Options window
- On the first tab is Visual Effects. Select Adjust for best performance or Custom (and select the feature(s) you want).
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

@mikerCZX The issue is known since October 2020 and is caused by Intel iGPU drivers. MS and both Intel were reported the issue countless times and they don't care and are incompetent so far fixing it read about it here:
So it is not an issue with your laptop. And also shame on HP support on here not knowing about that.
There is no solution for this so far, but to roll back to a very old Intel driver, not sure which one was the last working you have to test this, maybe one of mid 2020 or even 2019.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.
- Turn off your HP laptop.
- Disconnect all external devices (printers, USB drives, etc.) from your computer.
- Remove all recently added internal hardware.
- Press the Power button to switch your HP laptop on.
- Once your unit starts booting, immediately press the F11 key. Repeatedly press it until you see the Choose an Option screen.
- Select Troubleshoot.
- Choose Reset this PC.
- You can either opt to keep your files or to remove everything.
- Select Keep My Files when you want to retain your data. Once you click Reset, your operating system will be reinstalled. The process may take a while.
- Choose Remove Everything when you want to remove all your personal files.
- You can opt to remove everything solely on the drive where your operating system is installed. On the other hand, you can click All Drives when you do not want to retain any data.
- You can also fully clean the drive you selected or just remove your files.
- Click Reset.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
