Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

have a hp elitebook 840 g4 without os.  want to install windows 10pro but so not know what h/w requirements are.

Hi:

 

Your notebook was designed by HP to run W10 pro 64 bit.

 

Here is the link to the 840 G4 quickspecs.  The only Windows OS supported is W10.  See page 8.
