Hi:

Your PC does not have a TPM security device, and the processor is not supported for W11, nor are there any supported W11 processors you can upgrade to.

If you want to try out W11 on your PC as it is, let me know, and I will give you a link for instructions to easily bypass the W11 hardware checks so you can upgrade to W11.

Hello,

The Intel® H170 Chipset in your desktop computer supports the Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM), so by default it should be enabled.

To check if it is properly configured, please access the BIOS:

  1. On the keyboard when the PC starts up, press the F10 key repeatedly.
  2. In the BIOS, go to the Security tab, then select System Security, and press the Enter key.
  3. In the System Security options, select TPM and press the Enter key.
  4. The default settings are as follows:
    TPM DeviceAvailable
    TPM StateEnable

Don't hesitate to contact us in case of need.

my bios TPM says  available and enable. why can't I  get windows 11?

Because your PC's 7th gen core processor does not meet the W11 specs.

It has to be an Intel 8th gen core processor.

See the list of of supported Intel processors below...your PC's processor is not on the list.

Thanks for your return,

Since your desktop was released in 2017 it automatically has TPM 2.0. This does not come from HP but from Microsoft for the security requirements of the operating system.

Please use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant to upgrade your computer.
